Baked bean with bacon
Enjoy the delicious taste of mayocoba bean and bacon
ingredients
5 cups peruano bean, Verde Valle®, whole and cooked
½ cup molasses
½ cup ketchup
¼ cup dijon mustard
Salt and pepper to your liking
1 onion, filleted
8 bacon slices
PREPARATION
STIR in a bowl molasses, ketchup, mustard and bean. SEASON with salt and pepper. POUR it in a container that can be used to serve also. ADD onion, then a bacon layer and cover with aluminium paper. BAKE for 30 minutes at 170 ºC , open and cook for other 30 minutes or until bacon gets browned and crunchy. Let it cool for a few minutes. STIR and serve immediately.
