Sourdough Sandwich
ingredients
1 kg peruano bean Verde Valle®
1 garlic clove
1 tablespoon salt
700 g pork leg, chopped into small pieces
2 tablespoons oil
1 onion finely chopped
2 pieces pork chorizo, shreded
½ kg smoked pork, chopped in small pieces
2 thick ham slices, chopped in squares
2 cups tomato pureé
1 can pepper, drained and chopped
Salt and pepper
1 container Helena’s Classic Natural Hummus
1 loaf sourdough bread, sliced
2 tablespoons melted butter
8 slices turkey breast
1 avocado, thinly sliced
1 cup alfalfa sprouts
2 fresh pickles, sliced
1 round tomato, sliced
PREPARATION
- Open the hummus container, transfer to a bowl, and stir until smooth and spreadable. Set aside.
- Toast the sourdough slices on a grill or skillet with melted butter until golden on both sides.
- To assemble, spread hummus on both slices of bread. Layer with turkey breast, tomato, pickles, avocado, and alfalfa sprouts. Top with the second slice of bread. Serve immediately.
