Charro black beans
One of the main dishes at an outdoor party. Try this recipe served with chorizo, sausage, bacon and pork rind.
ingredients
3 cups Black beans Verde Valle®, cooked
6 cups bean soup
150 g ham, chopped in cubes
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 saladet tomatoes, chopped in cubes
3 jalapeño chilies, shredded
200 g pork rind, chopped
Salt to your taste
PREPARATION
FRY bacon over medium heat in a frying pan, lightly browned, add chorizo and let it fry until it has been cooked. ADD ham and let it cook for 1 more minute. TAKE AWAY the ingredients from the frying pan and in the same oil fry the onion until it looks trasnparent, add the chile strips and tomato; cook for 5 minutes over medium heat. ADD pork rind and let it cook until this has become soft. SEASON with salt. SERVE hot.
