Fried Super Extra Rice with Leftover Turkey
ingredients
1/4 cup nut halves, Verde Valle, chopped
1/2 cup cranberries, Verde Valle
1 package long pasta
90g cream cheese.
1 cup cream
3 tablespoons blue cheese
2 tablespoons powdered chicken soup
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons onion, chopped
1 cup milk
1 cup Super Extra Rice, Verde Valle
1 leftover cooked turkey breast
2 diced carrots
½ cup chopped walnuts
¼ cup sliced almonds
¼ cup dried cranberries
1 cup chopped scallions
2 zucchinis, diced
2 tablespoons dried oregano
Honey, to taste
Olive oil, as needed
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 cups water
PREPARATION
- In a skillet, sauté the carrot, zucchini, walnuts, almonds, scallions, and cranberries. Drizzle with honey and add oregano. Set aside.
- Rinse the rice, drain, and cook it in 2 cups of salted water for 15 minutes or until soft. Add the sautéed mixture and cook for 5 more minutes.
- Serve the warm turkey breast on a bed of fried rice. Enjoy.
