Broad bean dip
This broad bean dip is ideal fir receiving guests. What is better than offering a nutritious and delicious snack?
ingredients
2 cups broad beans, Verde Valle
4 cups water
1 garlic clove, peeled
1/2 cup cream
1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Spicy sauce to taste
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons oregano powder
1 teaspoon thyme powder
PREPARATION
COOK the broad beans with water, a little salt and garlic, cook over medium heat until they are completely broken up. Strain and set aside. PLACE fresh cheese in a food processor. Cover and grind for 30 seconds, add beans. COVER and grind again for 1 minute or until ingredients are well incorporated. Add cream and continue mixing for 30 more seconds. Stop the processor and clean around the bowl with a spatula. Once everything is incorporated, add minced garlic, lemon juice, spicy sauce, salt, oregano, thyme, and continue mixing for 30 more seconds. SERVE on a plate, add 1 tablespoon of oil on the top. Serve with toast.
