Broad bean tlacoyos
Prepare this delicious broad bean tlacoyos at home. Your family will love them!
ingredients
FOR STUFFING
2 cups broad beans, Verde Valle, cooked and grounded.
1 sprig mint
Salt
FOR THE DOUGH
1 K corn dough
3 tablespoons melted lard
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons flour
Water, the necessary

1 cup cream
100g basket cheese
1/2 onion, chopped
PREPARATION
COOK broad beans in a pressure cooker with salt and a sprig of mint, cook until they turn soft and almost dry. PLACE dough with lard, baking powder, flour and salt in a bowl. Mix throughly with clean hands, add water slowly and continue kneading until dough is soft and manageable, but not too sticky. Knead until it has this consistency. TAKE a portion of dough about the size of a large lemon, form a cylinder of dough with your hands, tap it a little, and in the center place a fist of broad beans, cover the edges so that the broad beans turn into a stuffing. PAT the dough into the shape of an elongated diamond. Cook the tlacoyos on a skillet with a teaspoon of pork butter on both sides. REMOVE from fire and serve with cream, onion and basket cheese.
