2 cups Pinto beans Verde Valle®

500 gr. beef shank, boneless

½ onion

500 gr. corn kernels

1 chilli

1 green chilli

1 onion

1 garlic clove

½ tomato

Salt and pepper

Lemon and chilli powder, to your taste

PREPARATION

COOK meat and a half of onion in a pot with water; cook until meat turns soft and well cooked. When this happens take away from heat and reserve. IN another pot with a lot of water, cook the corn until it gets soft, reserve. If needed, more water canbe added. ADD beans to the meat pot and let them boil until they get soft; once this happens, add the corn. MAKE little holes, from 10 to 12, into the chillis and onion using a toothpick; add them to the soup along with the garlic and tomato. LET everything cook together until the mix gets soft. Season with salt and pepper. SERVE with lemon and chilli powder.
